Non-Surgical Extraction

Non‑surgical extraction is a simple procedure used to remove a tooth that is visible in the mouth and can be taken out without making any cuts in the gum. It is typically done under local anaesthetic and is quick, comfortable, and ideal for teeth that are loose, fully erupted, or easy to access.

Surgical Extraction

Surgical extraction is a procedure used to remove a tooth that cannot be easily accessed or taken out conventionally, often because it is broken, impacted, or still under the gum. It involves making a small incision in the gum—sometimes removing bone or sectioning the tooth—and is usually carried out under local anaesthetic, with sedation available for anxious patients.

Impacted wisdom tooth

An impacted wisdom tooth is a tooth that does not have enough space to fully emerge or develop properly, often remaining trapped in the gum or jawbone. This can cause pain, swelling, infection, or damage to nearby teeth, and sometimes requires surgical removal to prevent further problems.

My son was told 2 years ago (Oct. 2023) at first couple visits - what the final turnout would be after his braces. He's happy and impressed with results. Staff (from reception team to dentists) were always accommodating and treated him well. He got clear and simple explanations and instructions on how to treat braces and now retainers! Thank you Nightingale clinic :)!
